Padstow swim success

Max Doble of Roy Doble jewellers took part in the annual Padstow to rock charity swim, in aid of Marie Curie cancer care. The challenge which took place on June 12th, involves a near one mile open water swim across the Camel estuary, in what turned out to be windy, rainy and choppy conditions. In spite of all this, approx 300 swimmers lined up to help raise funds for Marie Curie.

With the help of our customers, family and friends, Max completed the swim and raised nearly £300 in the process. It turned out to be a great day and a nice swim regardless of the weather, and the support from the volunteers and charity who looked after everyone made it all worthwhile.
